    Snoopy and his typewriter are facing the opposite direction as Schroeder and his toy piano. Only when he’s thinking he turns around.-Directions are meaningful in art. From left to right is the reading direction in western countries, going with the reading direction emphasizes there is an easy flow. Going against the reading direction emphasizes there are difficulties. Charles Schulz was a sensitive artist who felt and used such fine differences.
