Snoopy is quite the athlete. Plays shortstop in baseball, quarterback in football. Does anyone know what position he plays in hockey? And I don’t believe I’ve ever seen him play basketball.
If we’re getting picky, this would be encroachment, not offside. Since the joke is about a bird trying too early to tackle a dog, I think we can give Sparky a pass, here.
