I’ve known so many people like that, who don’t know the difference between “lend” and “give.” As the old saying goes, he who lends his books to his friends—loses both. (Add CDs, DVDs, anything special.)
Hamlet: Act I, Scene 3, – Polonius: “Neither a borrower nor a lender be,. For loan oft loses both itself and friend,. And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry. This above all: to thine own self be true…”
Not sure whether you’ll be able to reply to this but thank you so much for your email! I am pleased you enjoyed my video. I have 265 views but some of them are mine, I kind of wish Youtube didn’t count your own views because there have been a few times when I’ve had a few more views than before, I’m happy about that for a brief moment and then I think “Oh. That was just me”
What I forgot to tell you in the email is that I have a 4th cousin who lives in Greenwich, Ohio. Ohio is not very far from Kentucky is it? Distant cousin in Fairview, Tennessee. It is so interesting to find all this out. That’s thanks to you. You inspired me to do it, I wasn’t really interested before.
None of them have got in touch with me yet. But I don’t really want to contact them because they are still strangers. Just being cautious. They might feel the same way about me. Maybe they are being cautious too and I understand that.
Anyway, How was your week? I hope things are better with your parents. It’s horrible to feel out of sorts. Been thinking about you.

Peppermint Patty has a baseball cap? In later strips, she doesn’t wear one when she plays with her team, the Pelicans.
