I think Linus later identifies World War II as a gully cat.

Save it for creative writing class in high school.

Ah, the queen snake gets intertwined with the “gully cat”.. wonder which one would win in a battle between the queen snake and the rock snake? :-P

Obviously, the teacher doesn’t know anything about Gully Cats and Queen Snakes, so poor little Linus suffers.

Fact-based learning is so constraining.

Queen snake is a harmless eastern US snake. They could never fight a western gully cat.

Miss Othmar must be a hard grader.

Linus does have imagination. He doesn’t realize yet he and Sally have that in common.

I wish my teacher could give me the grade “Nice try” instead of an F.
