try again, Sally, but with less analogies and less lashing
I really wanted to see if Sally could indeed “go somewhere” with her street analogy!
Yep, well drawn and quartered, racked and hung out to dry, for good measure!
No wonder the pen pal isn’t responding. It’s not like she’s related. I wouldn’t correspond with someone who gave me grief either.
She’ll lose him on a lonely highway.
More like bludgeoned it, CB.
The pen pal will write back, as soon as they can make heads or tails of what Sally goes on about.
Looks like a dead end to me.
interesting how Sally uses a pen and doesn’t smudge it all over a place, unlike her brother…
This is why your letters are not being answered….too wordy and rambling…
Bad analogies are like a tomato.
It’s taking the pen pal a long time to intverview all those relatives to answer how they are.
Isn’t it really a metaphor and not an analogy?
It’s more like a crowded train platform where the jostling crowd bumps you onto the tracks moments before the speeding …
Some analogies just need killing, Charlie Brown.
If she lives in another country she probably hasn’t received her letter yet.
When we sent postcards from Cancun they didn’t arrive for over a month after we returned.
