Is that a QWERTY or DVORAK keyboard Snoopy is using? Obviously, with less digits, he needs all the help he can get with typing.

Is that the same Whom for whom the bell tolls?

should be Dear Who, since it’s not the object of a preposition. I know, pedantic, and it would ruin the joke, but still…

If Who is on first, one could ask either, “You throw the ball to whom?” or “You throw the ball to Who?” Either could be correct depending on context. But if anybody other than Who is on first, only, “You throw the ball to whom?” is the only correct question.

    So there.

I usually use the person’s title if I don’t know it. “Dear Accounts Receivables Clerk.”

I beats “Dear Sir and/or Madam as the case may be.”

Redundant salutations. And they’re unnecessarily repetitive, too.

Snoopy doesn’t quite seem to grasp the concept behind the use of “To Whom It May Concern:”

(And yes, there should be a colon, not a semi-colon, at the end of it. Snoopy should let Woodstock do the typing.)

That’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever read.
