Pay day, indeed.
where would one buy a $40 candy bar, Woodstock? ever thought of that?
Considering how expensive candy bars have become, Woodstock’s joke may not be that far from reality.
How would Woodstock lift a $40 candy bar?
For $40 he probably could have taken a bus or a train instead of walking.
Take your $40 & trade for some Galleons, Sickles & Knuts, and flag down a Night Bus …
they just finished hyping the Halloween candy and now going to the Christmas candy…
Dad jokes.
I have nothing to say…
Sounds good to me!!!
According to the BLS inflation calculator, $40 in November 1972 is about $243 today. Then and now it would be a lot of candy.
♫ If I had forty dollars we wouldn’t have to eat Kraft dinner
(But we would eat Kraft dinner)
(Of course we would, we’d just eat more)
(And buy really expensive ketchups with it)
(That’s right, all the fanciest dijon ketchups, hmm)
If I had forty dollars, (if I had forty dollars)
I’d be rich ♫
For 40 dollars Woodstock could go to a pet store an buy himself a… friend.
A candy bar worth that much would have to be really big and tasty.
Supersize Toblerone.
