I do not remember Linus being so sarcastic as he has been recently, first Chuck with the “Snowman Building League” and now he is trolling little Sally…..
Well at least Sally knows which side of the naughty or nice line she needs to be on. If she slugs Linus in the new year, she’s got all that time to make up for it. :-)
Um, Linus? Don’t you remember Halloween, when you asked Charlie Brown, “You heard about fury and a woman scorned, haven’t you?” You were talking about Sally!! Why would you mess with her?!?!
I wonder if, between this and missing out on Halloween waiting in a pumpkin patch for a nonexistent deity, Sally is reconsidering the whole “sweet baboo” thing.

If that was a joke Linus, it was a pretty cruel one.;-/

Today’s lesson; when a lady says she doesn’t want anything for Christmas what she really means is she wants a jewelry store underneath her tree

How can a necklace cost $10,000? I know Mercedes cars and Lincoln Town Cars are very expensive.

This strip is the one for December on my ‘Peanuts’ wall calendar. I figured it would come up in this storyline.

Sally, Linus is joking. Don’t believe him. If you do, Lucy will slug you.

Good grief. Santa had an expensive demand for Sally. She probably underestimated the love of her comrades.

Linus, begin searching now for the tool which deflects as mirrors similarly reflect.

Bear in mind that Sally had yet to introduce the Sweet Babboo pet name. It will be another few years until we hear her say it..
“I’M NOT YOUR SWEET BABBOO!”
