More Grand theft shopping cart. Every time you see one abandoned somewhere just remember, you paid over a hundred dollars for it. The cost had to be built into the prices of what you bought.
My town was pretty much destroyed by industry leaving the country. It is now solidly in the Rust Belt, and, along with unemployment increasing, the number of homeless does, too.
Over the past few years as things continue to spiral downward, I see more and more carts abandoned nearly everywhere.
