For the record, Kennedy’s statement was both grammatically and idiomatically correct. A quick internet search can tell you that, as can any good German teacher.

Brilliant – what a way to celebrate the Berlin Wall coming down. I burst out laughing!!!!

Of course the wall Reagan was referring kept the Zebras &Goats of East Germany from escaping the Crocs running the place.
