Rat seems better suited for the FBI, the next Hoover.

Too obvious, Rat. Surely, there have to be better ways you can entertain yourself…

The establishment of covert surveillance on electronic communications is important to the safety and security of the nation as a whole, and of particular use to whatever political party currently holds office, so they can get dirt on their enemies, who, being in conflict with the current administration, are clearly enemies of The People as well.

Wow! What a coincidence! My Mom is 88, too, and she also doesn’t use Google. They must be communicating somehow to arrange not to be on Google. But how? How? Hmmmm…..

Because Rat’s on the payroll, shouldn’t it be renamed the National INSECURITY Agency?!?

90 Days Later……Goat: “I can’t believe those terrorists coordinated that whole terrible attack on their cell phones right under our noses, and the NSA didn’t know it. Outrageous, isn’t it?”.(Monitoring me has, to date, bored 32 NSA analysts into early retirement.)

Strange how the NSA can tap all our phones, but they can’t make the Do Not Call List work right.

If it would stop one of the terrorist attacks on our country, they could publish everything I’ve said since I learned to talk. However, that’s not the problem. I trust the current government- more than any I have in my life, but the level of trust any one of us may have in this or any current government isn’t relevant. After 9-11, laws were passed to “protect” a frightened American people. They gave the government too much power, and that mistake needs to be corrected, because trusting in the government to that extent eventually is going to give us a government that really really shouldn’t be trusted.

You mean he wasn’t named after a dam? Actually, Hoover predates the vacuum cleaner company by 13 years and the dam by nearly 40 years.

Behold, The Bible predicted the NSA: Ecclesiastes 10:20 Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter. :)

Whatever the motives of the people collecting it, the existence of such a database means someone will eventually use it for their own ends.
