Pig: Whatcha reading, Goat?
Goat: A war history. This chapter is about all the carpet bombing that occurred.
Pig: Someone must really hate carpets.
Goat: I'm going to read silently now.
Pig: Who was fighting - two interior decorators?
Cluster bombs are really awful. Some are made to throw out little wires and only go off when disturbed. Others bounce up in the air before exploding to insure better shrapnel pattern. All are designed to maim instead of kill, the idea being it takes three persons to care for each wounded.
In a way, Pig is right: many wars are about how different groups want to see their country. Call them ‘interior decorators’, with the winner getting to do the renovation.

Alphabetically, next we bomb carports. Purpose, they are anticapitalistic property value reducers. Collateral damage will be campers, extra cars, portable basketball hoops, mail boxes, boats, school bus kid shanties, and neighbor’s dog pooping on your lawn.
