I guess they had too much fiber. That can really block up your system and cause explosions.

Maybe carpet bombing means bombing with carpets rather than bombing at carpets.

I always thought carpet bombing was how you got rid of a flea infestation.

Cluster bombs are really awful. Some are made to throw out little wires and only go off when disturbed. Others bounce up in the air before exploding to insure better shrapnel pattern. All are designed to maim instead of kill, the idea being it takes three persons to care for each wounded.

In a way, Pig is right: many wars are about how different groups want to see their country. Call them ‘interior decorators’, with the winner getting to do the renovation.

Carpet bombing is a concept more than an specific action in a specific war. But to show it capabilities here is a link. 4000 killed at Hamburg. http://new.spectator.co.uk/2015/05/the-carpet-bombing-of-hamburg-killed-40000-people-it-also-did-good/

Alphabetically, next we bomb carports. Purpose, they are anticapitalistic property value reducers. Collateral damage will be campers, extra cars, portable basketball hoops, mail boxes, boats, school bus kid shanties, and neighbor’s dog pooping on your lawn.
