What ever happened to good old fashioned over the counter paregoric? Oh, I remember. It was screwing up kids minds so we quit using it.
When I was a lad in the late forties, Numb-O-Cane was used to apply to teething children’s gums. It contained cocaine or Novocain, not sure which.
Just give him a couple of Benadryl next time.
“We’re gonna strap them kids in, give ‘em a little bit o’ benadryl and cherry coke. We’re goin’ to Oklahoma. Gonna have us a time.”
Then, he darted out of the room.
He and the wife must have big plans!
