Heck, Phoebe, your car drives itself!

Come on Phoebe, you just got through the whole “calling Marigold a horse” thing. Now you’re saying she’s a car? When will you learn?

Don’t you remember? Marigold pretended she was a car at Halloween, so obviously that doesn’t bother so much as the horse comment.

I discovered that the 1975 Volvo I purchased for $350 had a heated drivers seat.

First she was called a horse, now she’s called a car.

That’s why I ride bareback in the winter.

Im going to have to add warm buns to chocolate, cookies and hugs in my list of things that make everything better.

I wonder if Marigold’s scarf, which is often depicted as purple (I’m sure she has a whole set of them and leg warmers), is an homage to Linda Chapman’s “Unicorn School” book series. In one of the books, “The School Play,” the unicorn teacher in charge of producing the play, Fern, wore a distinctive purple scarf.

My wife calls her heated car seats “cushy tushy” seats.

A warm seat, but she’s riding a convertible in winter with the top down.

Marigold has four propulsion units at the corners, and a horn at the front. No other kid has one, and plenty of adults want one. Sounds like a car to me!

Not good for seating the whole family, tho.
