Not gripping your soul with joyful paralysis?

A young girl riding a unicorn questioning her happiness?! Does this make sense to anyone?!

Obligatory Marigold butt shot. We’re all happy now! :D

It’s Sunday and the sun has risen. It’s time to go riding! The thought of all those people who do not have a horse makes me very unhappy.

Wasn’t this a Calvin & Hobbes at one point? Although I imagine they would be rocketing down a hill during the conversation….

I get it…except… I have to say, the only time I never question my happiness is when I am on/with my horse, or any horse—you are fully present in a way that is hard to find elsewhere…and that is the ONLY time I have no cause to question my ‘happiness.’ So I imagine riding a unicorn should magnify that contentment…but…maybe it’s because they can carry on a verbal conversation that takes Phoebe out of the moment. I just would have bought it a little more if she hadn’t been riding…because that’s hard to swallow. ;)

She’d be a lot happier if she appreciated the felicities of where she is, what she’s doing and who’s with her instead of fretting about her happiness level.

Phoebe should try running in a meadow in her bare feet. Why not ask Dakota and Max to join her. Marigold could just snack.
