She’s on three dates. The third is January 9th.

“Being abbreviated makes me feel humble.” Plus it saves us a few seconds. Seriously, try saying his whole name three times fast.

I hesitate to ask what the other unicorns would think if she forgot that she was on a date and walked off with a date stuck to her bottom.

It’s a wonder the “Lord” gets any of the ladies interested in him, what with his shy, retiring personality, et al…!

Yeah, but it also makes you sound like a certain superhero team.

(As an aside, I really enjoyed Unicorn Theater. We never seem to talk about the books here—particularly The Magic Storm and Unicorn Theater, which are standalone stories rather than strip collections. I bring it up because Theater mentions an important change in Flo’s rather unfortunate condition.)

I do believe I called it. LSH and Florence are on a date together.

LSH is such a fun guy. And he must be so easy for Dana to draw, too.

Who would be a good voice actor for Lord Splendid Humility?

He seems extremely proud of his humility.

When Florence says “date,” is she referring to the fruit, or is that how unicorns diplomatically refer to the backs of their laps? (As Rex Stout would put it.)

Now, with most people, being abbreviated makes them feel shorter – usually by about a head…

It strikes me as lucky his name isn’t “Lord Splendid Demureness.”
