I thought that only us guys had “selective hearing”.;D

I’ve often wanted this ability, especially when I’m substitute teaching.

Marigold, there are some people who SHOULD be muted! In the Texas State House, for instance.

Admit it…you hovered your mouse pointer over the mute symbol to see if it was a real button.

With the major apps one can mute but cannot unmute. Unless, it seems, one is a unicorn.

When I am driving, I often mute my hearing just by my intense focus. I usually let riders in the car know that I will do so without warning. Only someone who has not said anything can break through that focus, because it might be a warning.

Oops. Turn the hearing aids back on.

Never let them know muting them is an option – then just play it off as being deep in thought.
