Well with Luz and Amity from The Owl House (I reject any outcome where they don’t get to be together 4ever), I imagine their kid(s) using the Spanish equivalent when addressing Luz and mom for Amity.
This actually does raise a question I have: how do kids with same-sex parents tend to address them? Do they typically call them the same thing, or do they have “Mom” and “Mama” (as examples, and realizing that there’s probably a variety of answers.)
This reminds me of the Anime “Vandread” in which one human society was entirely female, and each family consisted of two mothers and their children. The mother who gave birth to the child was called a Fama while the other mother, who provided genetic material for the offspring, is called an Oma. That sort of thing would make sense for families with same sex parents.

Did one of his moms get a tan or something? I remember her being a lot paler.

I’m starting to see the value in distinguishing Mom from Mom.

Why didn’t both moms answer his first question?
Did he inflect differences in the way he said “mom” to specify which mother he was addressing? Is this the Earth-English version of “I am Groot”?

In the strip “AJ and Magnus”, about a boy with two gay fathers, one of them is “Dad” while the other is “Pop”.

I thought Max’s Dad was a possible bigamist, until the truth was revealed in the comments section. Interesting!

I’d imagine they’d have plenty of practice with the logistical issues by now, in any case.

He should have called one of them Mom and the other Mother or Momma.
