sorry, neither butch nor minion are allowed on the kitchen table or in the bedroom. All other areas of the house is their domain, the just allow us to be there. (I must say Earl and Opal sound like my husband and I…only we are about 40 years younger.)
A cat’s smelly, dirty, disgusting butt on the table is gross beyond comprehension. Why would ANYONE allow that????YUKKKKKKKKK! Just looking at that makes me nauseous!
My cat has learned not to get on the dining table during the day, but when I go to bed, I have to cover the table with a large beach towel to at least keep it clean.Anyone have any suggestions that might work better?
Apparently one cannot type asterisks around a word.Anyway, I suspect that feeding the cats on the table top grows out of the disinclination we geezers have to stoop for the water and food dish.

Opal, you volcanic temptress of steamy sensuousness, your words drip like honey — snark!!

Years ago I boarded with a woman who actually fed her cats on the kitchen table. I always took my meals in my room.

Muffin has it all wrong…she’s supposed to lie down on top of the newspaper Opal is reading. Didn’t she take cat lessons?

Muffin’s just reading the paper too, upside down that is…

LOL!! Yes, you’re not only funny, Earl, but you’re definitely hot stuff! :-)No animals allowed on the counter or any table in my house.

Well at least we know Earl really CAN successfully boil water. But what on earth would he be doing it for, I’d be worried if I were Opal

Don’t worry Earl. Just remember that many a good tune has been played on an old fiddle ( it just depends on how you rosin the bow ).

The ladies down at the Senior Center think Earl is pretty hot.

I had to feed my Siamese on top of a roll-around dishwasher, close to but not on the kitchen cabinet. Otherwise, the dog ate his food.

I can’t picture anyone calling Opal hot stuff for some reason.

My cats do it all the time and before we eat I spray it with Fantastic and super clean it.

Hot stuff? Okay Earl, if you say so!

When Earl said ‘Watch out, Hot stuff comin’ through!’
I was PRETTY certain I would see a seductive looking Earl coming through.

If you guys are really as fastidious as you make out I pity your immune system!
