Yeah, really thoughtful Earl. And you didn’t even offer to share with Nelson.

If you bought it for Opal, why are you eating it?

Earl is not eating the candybar, he is merely assertaining its freshness and suitability for consumption.

Let HIM eat the junk food. Call it lunch, then go out to a nice place for lunch by yourself.

Rather steal a candy bar than Opal’s cash.

Andy Capp wouldn’t need to think twice when going into Flo’s purse.

Now all Earl has to do is slip the wrapper into her purse. When she finds it all he has to say is “You must have ate it.” Hopefully she’ll be having a “distracted” day and will believe him……(yeah, right) LOL!

It’s JUST a candy bar. I buy “fun size” candy bars, stash them and tell my wife where they are, and she can have as many as she wants. I don’t extend the same courtesy to my kids though, they would be gone as quickly as I could buy them. We also keep cookies etc in the pantry, or try to, but they end up disappearing a lot quicker than my stashed candy.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm in Nelson’s comment? “Yeah, real nice”.
