Earl is just joking! He hasn’t gave Opal a hickey inthe last 30 years.

Then they will say “ah, so that’s why your neck looks like a turtle neck… you are wearing a turtleneck!”.

That burger looks pretty charred.

In Spanish they’re called “swan neck” sweaters (cuello cisne) because when the old knitted ones are folded out, they’re very long. Sounds a lot more complimentary.

She’s gonna sweat to death in that sweater.

Some ‘Hickeys’ are a lower than the neck…

Barbara Bush used a three-row pearl choker when she was in the White House. Much cooler than a sweater.
