My wife was concerned that the canned fruit I bought was sweetened by other fruit juices, and not by syrup. I told her she didn’t need the extra sugar, she was sweet enough already. (I should have stopped there.)
I then said some might say she was too sweet. If she exercised more she wouldn’t have to worry about all that sweetness. She hit me in my gut, and yes, it hurt.
I don’t think nelson will be in trouble because he’s was following some bad advice he got from earl.As for earl i wish him good luck getting out of the dog house.
To many of the above, you’re right, I did deserve it. She knew I was kidding so we didn’t start a fight. I have never heard those “…and that’s when the fight started” jokes, will have to look them up. Finally to Dog day 88, I know, right? Try and tell your significant other she is sweet, and she takes it the wrong way. She abounds in sweetness. Oh, ok, I see it now. :)
