A USED waffle iron? How pathetic if you ask me.

I bet Earl got her a toaster for their 25th. A 4 slicer!(let’s see who gets this)

Nice try Earl! Women have very, very, very long memories!

Then again, they don’t make them like they used to..The best toaster I ever had I bought used from a guy who repaired small appliances (about 40 years ago). It toasted quickly and evenly, and didn’t pretend to “sense” the darkness of the toast..

A used waffle iron? Must be on a tight budget huh, Earl?

How else are you supposed to make used waffles?

Things were so tight when Earl and Opal got hitched that Earl had to pay the minister with S&H Green Stamps !

One year my ex gave me a hubcap for Christmas.

You have to have a story…I have story’s I haven’t even used yet.

My dad gave my mom a floor waxer for a second anniversary. They didn’t make it to five. :P

We love Pickles. Always a warm funny start to the day!

No wedding present. Received a fry pan with my first child. A subscription to Parent’s Magazine with my second child. Nothing with my third child.

As 1st wedding anniversary was approaching, I wondered aloud what gift I could give for the paper anniversary. Without missing a beat, First Mate said sweetly: " $100 bills are paper " !

I got a used waffle iron for Christmas one year – from my mom.It still works, but we never use it.It’s so old, there are people who collect things like it. (vintage small appliances with cloth wrapped electric cords) My husband bought me a new waffle iron the same year. We don’t use that one much either.Maybe I will give it to my adult son.

I have my grandmother’s Depression-era waffle iron – cloth-wrapped electric cord and all. It still works and the waffles don’t stick. I have a newer one with (Good Lord, deliver us) Teflon grids, and I loathe it. Simply will NOT release the waffles. It’s so bad I won’t even give it to the Good Will. Recycle, here it comes.

As they say “Out with the old, In with the new!”

I don’t always agree with that though.
