Ha ha… we used to use that trick on the kids when they had to talk in church.

Zinger…Earl, Tell it the way it is.

And that’s when the fight started…

a lot of public speakers just add “UM” every few seconds, really makes things drone on…BTW I’m one of them cause I suck at public speaking, not intentional of course.

angelfireddragon, when I took speech in college, if we said “um”, we automatically got dropped a letter grade for that speech.

NO ONE should makr a 45-minute speech! At least 30 minutes TOO LONG! lol
