Not to put a damper on things; but I just recently learned that cats purr when they’re in pain too. I think any strong emotion can cause purring. Look it up to verify my info if you want.

Our letterboxes in the UK are wide rectangular shapes where the letters go. So our heads can’t get stuck in them. But our hands can.
