If Earl was listening to music back in the mid 70’s he may have liked a song called “Shannon”. A sad song written about the death of Beach Boy, Carl Wilson’s, Irish Setter.

Seems like there are more dog songs, than cat songs….

Earl’s a little narrow-minded here. The online station I listen to has a bumper that says “we know you remember more than 300 songs in your life”, implying that that’s all most oldies stations have on their playlist.

(My own playlist numbers in at least the five digits. Probably six.)

Better bad taste in music than no taste. That song was an utter abomination.

Back in the ragtime era, somebody wrote a rag titled, “Who Let the Cows Out?”.

Nothing wrong with ‘Bird Doig’. Beats ‘How much is that doggie in the window?’ by Patti Page.

It wonders me why I have so many records then. And Roscoe’s fave isn’t among them.
