Here in Georgia anything 25 years or older gets to have antique plates. Of seven cars I’ve ever owned four would qualify. One of them would have qualified when I owned it, if I’d lived in Georgia at the time.
My brother bought a pale blue and white ‘56 Chevy from our grandfather as his first car.
My husband and I have a 1939 Dodge Deluxe 4-door sedan (being worked on), a 1963-1/2 Ford Falcon Sprint convertible (being restored as our AACA show car) and a 1974 Mercedes Benz 450SL (our fun driver car). We both judge for the AACA shows. It is a great club and a fun hobby.

I learned to drive on my Dad’s 64 Chevy. I was so short, needed a pillow to see over the steering wheel.

Dad had a Turquoise and White ‘56 Chevy BelAir also. I learned to drive column shift in that car.
