    Build up the exercise routine. It should not be painful. Give the body time to adjust.

    Bags of frozen vegetables make better cold packs, they are flexible even when frozen.

    Phred is right. I’m 72, and even though I strained a muscle when my workout hit an underdeveloped area, it healed after lowering the intensity for a few weeks.
