Take some ibuprofen and you should be okay.
I just skip the exercise. That fixes that.
Build up the exercise routine. It should not be painful. Give the body time to adjust.
Just crawl inside the freezer.
Bags of frozen vegetables make better cold packs, they are flexible even when frozen.

A plugger knows the best thing to ice is a six pack.

Phred is right. I’m 72, and even though I strained a muscle when my workout hit an underdeveloped area, it healed after lowering the intensity for a few weeks.
