He can buy his sweetheart twice as much candy the day after “Valentine’s Day” but if he does it won’t mean as much because the sweetie will be getting the lovin’ late.;D

A plugger’s sweetheart also knows a “smart buy” when she sees it….

So, when does “A plugger takes a tiny bite out of each chocolate, and then puts them back in the box. Because he wants the good flavors, not lame ones like ‘that square one with really chewy unidentifiable filling’. So his wife is all, ‘Bleh! A box full of partially eaten sweets!’” come up?

On the 12th I went to the grocery store, brand new flyer (came out that day) said Valentine’s Day is coming, got back to the seasonal aisle and discovered its already Easter.

That’s so he can have his own box of chocolates to eat.

Female coyotes with blue eye shadow and lethargic male bears not bearing good fruit bowls aren’t really supposed to co-habitate.

Like there’s any wife that would appreciate that… Plus, notice that, though he bought double the candy, she still gets ONE!

A huge study of garbage started by Rathje at the University of Arizona in 1973 in which students and volunteers sorted, catalogued, and analyzed garbage and they came up with some surprising insights into our normal behavior (as well as a lot of information about our landfills). One of their more humorous findings was that a huge percentage of Valentine candy was discarded—full and partially full boxes. Possibly this is because males (who purchase most of the Valentine candy) tend to not pay too close attention to what their girlfriends/wives actually like and so tend to buy the ‘assorted’ boxes. The wives/girlfriends may eat the one or two that they actually like, but they may discard the rest (or take it to the office). Of course there are the clever ones who buy the assorted nut boxes and end up eating the whole thing themselves because their wife doesn’t like chocolate and nuts together . . .
