Hey, there’s some interesting info on those rural feed station bulletin boards. And they are less likely to be hacked — unless it’s by the wise-acre Hakker kid over at Grain Ball Heights!

The closest feed store is 45 minutes away, so I’ll pass.

Used to check the message board at the grocery store I used but they took it down. People started posting porn pictures, racial messages, etc. Hey, just like Twitter and Facebook. As a true Plugger I don’t have either one.

Our feed store was closed and torn down decades ago!

Sure better than the junk you find online.

Those old-time feed stores had a wonderful ‘aroma’ and ambiance.

I love rural cafes that have auctions posted on the bulletin board. They usually have a stack of Tractor House magazines with farm equipment dealer advertisements.

Why pay $2000 for a dog when it has free puppies listed?

Now that this has brought it to mind, I realize the bulletin board at my local grocery store has disappeared. “Will do sewing” “Handy Man services” “3 Party Rummage Sale” “Antique Ceramic Cat Collection For Sale”

Must admit the board does get the job done ;-)

The old ways are the best. Deal with it.
