Actually I thought that was pretty clever of Poncho. Shake things up a bit to get Chaz out of the doldrums. I have the weather doldrums and could probably use a pie in the face – preferably lemon meringue.

A restaurant nearby has free pie on Wednesdays. Unfortunately it’s also the day they have split pea soup my husband likes. What helps id s the senor discount that you can only use if you don’t get the pie. That helps the wallet & waist. However ove the summer they have the most delicious peach pie!!
