Religious people apparently accept a low threshold of proof.
My #1 problem with the bible, not withstanding the lack of factual proof, are the book’s first three words ‘In the beginning’… If there was nothing just before this, where did god come from? – - only god knows, I suppose!
I can’t prove that GOD DOES exist any more than anybody else can prove the He DOESN’T. Because I believe that there is something out there far greater than me, I choose to call it GOD. Works for me: I am still here after having several opportunities to genuinely not be. I also have experienced successes when I should definitely not have. To each his own. I know plenty of non believers that are genuine, sincere, generous and kind to animals and each other. I also know a few believers that GOD holds a special place in Hell for.
