I have faith that Stantis will have his “liberal” stooge, Winslow, do something stupid, so the MAGA trolls ( I.E RH) will comment on how it confirms their anti progressive viewpoint!
Faith helps you accomplish things, but it doesn’t guarantee success. The opposite IS true: negative thinking pretty much guarantees failure. But that does NOT mean positive thinking guarantees success.
I can believe I will one day be the center fielder for the New York Yankees. But the fact that I’m pretty old and was never very good at baseball will probably keep that from happening.
And Donald Trump will not be “reinstated” as President, no matter how fervently some nutjob believes it.
“The Cruelty Is the Point: The Past, Present, and Future of Trump’s America.” By Adam Serwer https://www.nytimes.com/2021/06/26/opinion/trump-republican-party.html
Donald Trump has claimed credit for the Republican Party’s reigning ideology: a politics of cruelty and exclusion that strategically exploits vulnerable Americans by portraying them as an existential threat, against whom acts of barbarism and disenfranchisement become not only justified but worthy of celebration. This approach has a long history in American politics. The most consistent threat to our democracy has always been the drive of some leaders to restrict its blessings to a select few.
This brand of white identity politics can be defeated. In the 1930s, a coalition of labor unions, urban liberals and Northern Black voters turned the Democratic Party from one of the nation’s oldest white supremacist political institutions — an incubator of terrorists and bandits, united by stunning acts of racist cruelty against Black Americans in the South — into the party of civil rights. This did not happen because Democratic Party leaders picked up tomes on racial justice, embraced jargon favored by liberal academics or were struck by divine light. It happened because an increasingly diverse constituency, one they were reliant on to wield power, forced them to.
’’Faith’’ by George Michaels, is one of my best sing-along tunes. (It’s true, I’m not much of a singer.) Also covered beautifully by Lake Street Dive. What a great song for a Sunday Morn!
I’m sorry Kyrie Eleison that the usual band of Prickly City bullies decided to turn on you. Although I can’t begin to understand why. It’s a great name, and when the bullies think on its meaning, it scares them, and all they know is to lash out. Not only do I wish you the Lord mercy, but his blessings also. Yes that applies to everyone that reads this.

Hmmm faith in the concept without considering the underlying science… So that’s why republicans are blocking the Infrastructure Bill!

Be sure to place your faith into the “correct religion” or else face the wrath of advocates of that “correct religion”…
