Chocolate and Strawberry together!

I though vanilla was bland when I was a kid, but I love it now.

I don’t know how old I was when I learned that vanilla was an actual flavor, but I probably should have figured it out sooner. I thought “vanilla” was just another word for “plain” (i.e. not chocolate, not strawberry, not butterscotch, not anything identifiable as a “flavor”).

Vanilla ice cream with pure maple syrup slathered on it…yummmmmmy!!!

With vanilla, you have an almost endless choice of toppings that will go with it. That’s why I go with it and also becasue my wife is alergic to chocolate adn i don’t want any accidents that would send her to the hospital.

Vanilla is Not bland. It’s actually a rather complex flavor, originally considered a delicacy by the Maya of what is now Mexico. That’s also where Cocoa (Chocolate) comes from.
