I loved malls. They’ve gone out of style mostly. They saved one from having to move the car from parking lot to parking lot and provided something to do on rainy days.
A bank I remember – two tellers eight positions – at lunch time, on payday for N. Y. State employees in the World Trade Center. The line use to end up outside the bank.
Same goes when you’re entering/exiting the parking lot of the mall/grocery store. People walk down the middle of the lane, most with cellphone in hand, completely oblivious to their surroundings. Move it, or lose it.

No problem if they have shopping carts.. nudging an ankle with a shopping cart almost always gets a slowpoke out of the way.
