But wasn’t Occam’s Razor what Schrödinger’s Cat used to slit its wrists?

Just cut to the chase.

The Mach 8 – for when speed is of utmost importance.

New and improved is most times 50% correct. Yes, it’s new. We’re about one blade away from shaving with a spatula. $ blades? just give me 2 and cut the price in half. 8 blades? What’s wrong with the first 7? Put blades number 8 first and throw away the other 7, then you can make razors 2 for $1 again.

I have most of the collection, I don’t have a single blade razor. They sent them, unsolicited: 2, 3, 4, & 5 blade razors. The 4-blade is still in the package. I use them until they get dull, then go back to the twin.

And no lubricated strip, either.

Occam figured out that the gullible public will pay lots of $ for their Mach 8, so why sell a single blade product that does the same job for just pennies a blade. In fact just wait for next year when they introduce their Mach 10 for just a dollar or two more than the Mach 8 you’ll get an even closer shave!

Everything is ridiculous now a days! Commercials are sickening…there’s nothing left to the imagination….

A single straight blade razor, a leather strop hanging from a nail, soap, pan of water, & a cracked mirror … served my grandfather well for decades … until the onslaught of Gillette Blue Blades and Friday Night Fights …!

Most often the best conclusion, but Psychology-101 taught me there is no right answer. And my 33+ engineering career dealing with Marketing’s wet dreams proved it.
