I’ve never tried to activate Siri or Alexa. I always hoped if I ever had a robot it would be like the Jetson’s Rosie or the “Danger Will Robinson” variety, not a female voice coming out of a flat screen. I suppose it never occurred to Steve Jobs or Jeff Bezos (or the inventors they hired) that their women customers might prefer a male voice like that of Patrick Stewart or James Earl Jones. (Forget broad shoulders, 6 pack abs or a tight bum, it’s the voice that attracts me first.)
