I was driving my son’s car recently and noticed that an engine outline was illuminated on the dash. I asked him later what that meant and offered that I thought perhaps it was letting me know the engine was actually in the car. There are so many idiot lights and chimes in newer cars it gets confusing. The light I asked about was trying to tell me there was a minor engine problem. Cars nowadays are just computers with rubber tires.
Light came on in the dashboard. Oil pressure shows OK. Temp gauge shows OK. Charge shows OK. Cars runs smoothly and with plenty of power. Guess I’d better shut it down in the #1 lane of the freeway and call a tow truck, just in case.

Just yesterday a friend was telling me his car has a low tire indicator. He just doesn’t know what it looks like.

My “Check Engine” light came on last week. I opened up the hood and checked, and sure enough, there was the engine!
