    I once visited a restaurant wherein all the wait staff wore buttons reading FREE DESERT IF SERVER DOES NOT SUGGEST ONE. I wondered if I’d get Gobi or Sahara, but I doubt they would have given out imported deserts; I probably would’ve just gotten death valley or Sonoran.

    Many people learn English as a second language, but it is indeed a difficult language to spell. However, it’s not the only one where misspellings occur. Have you seen the misspellings of Spanish (of all languages) on FB messages?
