I have a theory that humans go out of their way to try and thwart nature. Nature always wins. “Weeds” will still be around long after our species has finally accomplished our extinction. Have a nice day.
The churchyard had been taken over by weeds with no grass in sight. We hired a licensed guy and sprayed with an industrial weed killer that visibly wilted the weeds that day. The grass came back on its own before I got to reseed. Weeds have developed a grass growth inhibitor to survive. I leave some weeds in my yard so I don’t have to mow as often.
Well, according to Genesis, that’s the ultimate truth. With some culpable cooperation from humans. But yes, the world turned into one of toil.
Gen 3:17b-18: Cursed be the ground because of you! In toil shall you eat its yield all the days of your life. Thorns and thistles shall it bring forth to you, as you eat of the plants of the field.
The priest can help, but only because he brings the sure and certain hope that this is not the final situation.

Maybe the Priest can do a exorcism on your yard.

If Satan is in control of your garden, then maybe you can sell your soul to him.

A lawn exorcist is required.

I once had a section of lawn that was always doing poorly. In desperation I planted crabgrass.
It died.

I have the Black Thumb of Death. Plants have been known to die instantly instead of “allowing” me to nurture them.

Weeds seem to be much stronger than grass. Could Mother Nature be sending us all a message?

Pulling weeds keep me flexible.

Around here, we have a lot of people who do zeroscaping. That’s when you put zero effort into pulling weeds.

from a distance you can’t tell that mowed weeds aren’t a “real” lawn. and i’m going to cling to that belief…
