If I were Clark Kent, I'd want everyone in Metropolis to know that I was Superman. Why? So I wouldn't have to wait for a table at restaurants.
And, there would always be a good-sized doggie bag for Krypto!
I was sure it was so you wouldn’t have to change clothes in a phone booth!
There were plenty of them when Red and I were growing up.
I don’t think Rover will argue with your reasoning, Red.
But you’d get mobbed everywhere and Lois would get jealous.
You could also get to the head of the line at all of the rides at Disney World. Think about that, Red!
It takes a lot of food to replenish the energy expended by Superman.
I didn’t think Red regularly ate out at restaurants where there was a wait. (Oh wait…now that I ponder, there was Holiday House in Austin where if you had to wait you could get bread to feed to the ducks.)
Why not just go to the restaurant in costume?
For another interesting phone booth see Brewster Rockit.
On the old TV show, I seem to remember him slipping into the janitor’s closet at work. As for the glasses, he left them in his hat.
This is the launch of another rerun week for Red and Rover with reruns from 2009.
