Red: Low and outside, it could be worse. high and inside, it is worse. Thank goodness someone left their window open or it really, really could've been worse.

On some days the Houston Chronicle is still big enough to take out a window. Never rolled tightly though, which would help to break the glass. It is always slipped in a bag. Only rarely does one slip out of the bag and fly all over the neighborhood.
tcar-1And when you deduct the ads printed in the paper, and the editorials disguised as articles, it comes out to about three times the space for the still shrinking comics.

Used to be, newspapers were “delivered” to the front door! Now you’re lucky if they land on the very end of the driveway…

I can remember delivering papers and having to put them inside the storm door…
