It’s not glitter it’s space dust… err space dandruff… dog treat crumbs… Mr. Spock will now do a mind meld to figure out which one it is…

Hey they got the uniform color correct this time too.

Everything is on point…especially Rover’s ears!

At least there isn’t a multilegged creature crawling on his shoulder.

The glitter effects are quite impressive!

We used to play ‘Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea’ in cardboard boxes…

… And he did scattered glitter outside.

And as luck would have it – ANOTHER class M planet with oxygen and gravity levels exactly the same as Earth!

So glad Rover is back; as Spock also exact fit.

Sorry to be a downer, but glitter is very bad for the environment and health. It’s basically tiny bits of plastic, microplastics, that bypass filters and end up washing into streams, rivers, lakes & the ocean. Eaten by fish, then eaten by humans.

Ah yes, when imaginations ran as wild as we did back then. There was a spot in our woods that had a rock formation that we used as the bridge of the Enterprise. There was a particularly chair-like rock in the center that was the captain’s chair and another formation out front of it that we used as the helm. The woods were the various planets we would visit. Technology has been helpful in countless cases, but when it comes to a child’s imagination, all the game consoles, smart-devices, and such have, well, dumbed that sense down. We would have rounds of “Plyke” (play like: and something would follow). Hell, two empty soda cans would ensue a marathon game of kick the can. But, (gasp), thats not safe anymore. Somebody will get hurt kicking the cans and running away or someone will get their feelings hurt because they were “it” too many times. SMH.
