My dog likes the vet. The vet tells me he doesn’t like beagles because they jump all over, go crazy, are uncontrolled and have no manners. When I got my 3rd beagle, my current one, by the time he came into the exam room my 6-year-old new girl was snoozing on my leg. I said, “I have another wild and crazy beagle for you!” When he picked her up and put her under his arm to take her to the back for her shots, he said, “Oh, and she’s easy to carry, just like a football!” (She’s small, 18 lbs) When I got the required paperwork from him for her to be a therapy dog, he added on, extra, that this dog will be a wonderful therapy dog to anyone of any age as she is calm, quiet, and well behaved.
