I see from the copyright date that this is another reprint from 2017. I hadn’t started reading this strip then. I started reading Go Comics towards the end of 2015. I looked up Calvin and Hobbes on Google as their 30th anniversary was approaching and discovered the Calvin and Hobbes reprints on Go Comics and began reading other Go Comics strips. Red and Rover is now a strong candidate for my third favourite Go Comics strip.
Don’t you just hate that Red …. when Rover talks to you in a different language ……. then again Rover might want you to learn other languages ……. Woof, Woof …. :)
While generally very quiet, my dog can make quite a variety of sounds. I never considered she might be using different languages. She actually howled in her sleep recently. I was trying to nap, and that was something to wake up to, since she never has howled on her own before that I know of.

Sounds like a bad case of the Swedish chef on THE MUPPET SHOW.

Ah Red should have the day of. It’s a Federal Holiday. Red will go crazy if he finds out he could have been home with Rover all day.
