Rover has such heart. Of course, so does Red

The most scroungy, beat up toys are the ones they love the most. I found that out early on, lol!

No more squeaky bone? Time for trip to pet store.

Boy, they love their toys. Rugby had a soft squeaky ball that also used as pillow/head rest.

Instead of taking a dump, Rover wants to be taken to the dump.

I don’t take damaged toys away from my dog. I did buy a bag of new squeakers to replace the ones that don’t squeak any more. I don’t mind the noise and my beagle loves the squeaks. They sound much like the sound of a rabbit, which she was trained to track.

Take him on a trip to Petsmart and he can pick out a new one.

Yep, “the stare” says it all. One of our dogs, the one who pretty much runs things around here, has a favorite ball that we sometimes used to put up on a little chest between our chairs when he wasn’t using it. We don’t do that anymore, but lately he’s taken to staring at the top of the chest at the end of the day before they’ve had their last out. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what his very purposeful stare was for until I realized: that’s where we keep the key to the French window where they’re let out for the last out of the day. Yep, that was his communication to let them out ’cuz it was his bedtime. Scary.
