Love that! Miss that!

I work in retail and had a regular customer, with a service dog( a Labradoodle). She always did her job, and only reacted if her owner gave people permission, to pet her. One day, they came in after she got a grooming, and had ribbons in her hair. I said good morning to the owner and said, to the dog. ’ I like your ribbons!’ The look on her face said, Thank you! Then she leaped up and planted a wet sloppy kiss, on my face! The owner was surprised and said she’s never done that before and apologized! I said that it was ok, everyone should start their day with, doggie kisses!

I think he missed you, Red! So adorable!

Newton goes to daycare once or twice a week. When I pick him up, I stand at the end of the hallway as he comes out, waiting for an enthusiastic greeting—but he runs right past me to the reception desk, because they have a treat ready for him. Sigh.
