So I take it Marl Trails wasn’t available to fill in for Rip.

So not only is this guy a coward. He’s a sleazy coward. Unless that theory of him actually working with/as the Highwayman bears fruit

Is the ex-Sheriff finally showing some gumption, or is assuming Rip’s ID for someother reason?

I don’t think he got the eyesquint quite right.

Well, certainly getting some reactions with this development.

So the question is, did Rock have a change of heart? Is this part of some elaborate scheme to hide (assuming that he didn’t know that Rip was planning to face down the Highwayman and that his identity was safer to the sheriff’s)? Is he working for the Highwayman and using Rip’s identity to spy? Enquiring minds want to know!!!
