It looks like Rip will have to deal with a Waffle Man in this caper. If he likes chicken and waffles, it might make this guy not the killer(I’m betting he is the villain).

Burt the front desk guy .. seen in two panels a month ago, then forgotten .. a dead ‘giveaway’ that he was the culprit.

The desk clerk at the Starlight Hotel is a creepy jealous stalker, who is (possibly) a murderer. Since Breezy owns (most of?) Starlight, she probably owns the hotel. DOesn’t she screen her employees?
