Pure Maple Syrup costs about 11 to 15 USD in my country but hey, I prefer pure, healthy ones with heavenly taste!

I think Breezy is giving Skull too much credit. They could use a log cabin dropped on their heads.

Breezy must have turned into a pancake syrup connoisseur since she turned to domesticity, I didn’t know that there were so few “pure” maple syrup brands out there. But then, unlike OUR HERO, I seldom have pancakes (or, waffles.)

“Goodbye Mrs. Butterworth” = Goodbye Skull Island perhaps?

Actually, I am not a fan of pure maple syrup – I know, I know, I am a heathen. I prefer to make my own fake maple flavored syrup. Just 4 ingredients and simple to make. And I control the flavor.

Speaking of syrup, I’m sure that Skull will soon end up in a sticky situation.

At least it wasn’t Aunt Jemima. Politically incorrect and they changed the name to Pearl Milling Company.

If it didn’t come out of a tree, it isn’t maple syrup.

“Log Cabin” was real maple syrup, back in the 1950s. But they had a fake brand, too, mostly sold in half-gallon cans to institutions (schools, summer camps, etc.; it had its own brand name: “Wigwam”. (Don’t look at me like that; I didn’t name the stuff.)
